Mission Outreach

The purpose of the Graceland Harvest Church Mission and Outreach Ministry is to extend an arm of our Lord Jesus to those who are outside the walls of our Church with his message of Hope and Love.

Mission Outreach

This became very evident when the Lord showed our Pastor, Pastor Philip Mambo in a vision how in a certain neighborhood there was a mega church. This megachurch was equipped with all types of sophisticated you can ever imagine. But as Pastor Philip walk towards the main entrance of the building, there were people from all works of life who have no knowledge of Jesus Christ but yet the message that was being preached to the church could not get to them. I the Lord told Pastor Philip this is what is happening in the church today and that we must reach those that are outside the four walls of the church with the Good News. We do this by ministering to all we meet, especially those who are unsaved, un-churched, homeless. We are blessed to be able to serve in the mission field in our community, nationally and internationally with our prayers and through our work in the missionary society projects, benevolence ministry, project love ministry, meals programs.

We want to restore hope and provide opportunities for people to become all that God intends them to be; partner with the local church to put Christian faith into action through service to the community.

The Dorcas Initiative Houston

It was such a joy to feed the needy and the hungry. Through 2017 Graceland Hope Outreach Dorcas Initiative, we donated boxes of food to the Houston Foodbank. We volunteered, we fed the hungry and needy Families in Houston. Thanks to the entire Graceland Harvest Church Family and our Sponsor HEB for the donations, sacrifices, and prayers! and we thank God for Pastor Philip Mambo for the vision and initiative.

The Dorcas Initiative Cameroon

The war that Cameroon's government declared on armed separatists fighting for the independence of the English-speaking regions from the bilingual English/Francophone country is leaving many casualties among both the military and the insurgents. Hundreds have died in the fighting that is now in its sixth month — and hundreds more are missing. Read More Here

Around 160,000 people have been displaced in the crisis-hit North-West and South-West Anglophone regions that have been gripped by clashes and insecurity since late 2016. The majority of the displaced have fled into the bush with little to survive on.

Others are hosted by local communities who are also grappling with adverse living conditions. The conflict has also forced around 20,000 civilians to seek refuge across the border in neighboring Nigeria.

Aid organizations in Cameroon are planning to roll out emergency food, health, protection, shelter, and education assistance as well as provide basic household items. Read More Here.

Through this Dorcas Initiative for Cameroon, our church is running a food drive for refuges in Cameroon that have been displace by the ongoing crisis in the country. We are reaching out to friend colleges and family to help raised funds for the purchase of 100 bags of rice to assist these displaced women and children. A bag of 50kg/110 lbs. of rice is $40. A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated and we know it will go far to feed those that in dire need of food.
